Log in any time during the event window and a base 93 OVR Festival of Football ICON Pelé lands in your club, along with three Choose Your Journey Evolutions that define how he grows. Complete the full Evolution path and he finishes at 96 OVR with 5-star skill moves, a 5-star weak foot and four PlayStyles+, which is a top-tier endgame card for the price of pressing continue.
The only decision that matters is the journey pick, and the logic is the same as any Evolution candidate call: choose the path whose finished profile fills the hole your squad actually has, not the one with the flashiest single stat. The squad-building implication is the part to act on early: the challenges demand continent-themed squads, so the gold cards from upcoming regions are about to be in demand. A Path to Glory note while it is live: those cards are bets on real tournament results, so their value swings with every knockout match. Buying a PTG card after its nation is eliminated buys a finished card at a discount, which is occasionally the smarter deal than gambling on a quarter-finalist.
The two quiet tools that make this event different
Two features shipped alongside the Festival change how you should engage with its cards. The first is the PlayStyles Lab: select Festival of Football items can have their PlayStyles and PlayStyles+ customised, which means a Festival card is not the fixed product earlier promos sold you.
